Take your Taste Buds on a Culinary Safari at Disney’s Skipper’s Canteen
Skipper’s Canteen located near the Jungle Cruise at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. This restaurant takes you on a continued journey of the safari adventure from the Jungle Cruise. The waiting area is outdoors, emmercing you into the atmosphere of a restaurant just off the Nile river. Each cast member you encounter is dressed in the safari gear preparing you for a culinary adventure. The decor inside combines the safari adventure with refined early nineteenth century Britain. One of my favorite rooms is the library. I giggle to my self each time imaging Jane teaching Tarzan to read as I pass through.
The menu is diverse and kid friendly. There is a Mediterranean influence. The menu offers a whole fried fish for the truly adventurous. This is full table service dinning. The appetizer selection includes fellovel as well as unique soups and salads. They offer a vegan and vegetarian menu as well.
