Create Your Own Fairytale at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and Spa

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort and spa is the pinnacle of hospitality and luxury accommodations. Second to none in guest service not only in the eyes of Disney but also the hospitality industry.
Upon your arrival you are greeted by Disney’s signature welcome home. The cast members don authentic Victorian attire from the bellman and valets to the shop keepers.
Music from the Grand Piano and the orchestra drift throughout the lobby. Providing the theme song for your fairytale.
Fairytale weddings occur at the Grand Floridian each day of the week. Richard the legendary 92 year old greeter is the official “Fairytale Wedding Greeter” as well.
Mary Poppins is a favorite topiary of mine. She greets guest in the garden near the front entrance captivating hearts and sending you on your magical adventure.
There are a great number of restaurants to chose from 1900 Park Fare, The Grand Floridian Café, The Rose Garden Tea Room, Narcoosse’s, Citricos, and the famous Victoria and Albert’s. Providing a variety in dining experiences from Character dining, romantic dinners, to private dining at its finest.
The Gasparilla Island Café is the quick service restaurant and market. This location at time of print is open twenty four hours. Meals and snacks can be enjoyed inside or al fresco overlooking the marina. This is one of my favorite spots to enjoy the Magic Kingdom Fireworks.
The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa offers many amenities. They have beautiful pools and ample opportunities for recreation. They have many planned activities each day to engage children as well as bring families and friends together The marina has boat rentals as well as other watercraft.
Transportation from the resort the “highway in the Sky” also known as the monorail will deliver you directly to Magic Kingdom, next stop on the monorail the sleek modern Contemporary Resort and the final stop The Polynesian transporting you to a tropical island destination. The Resort is located on the Seven Seas Lagoon providing boat transportation to Magic Kingdom as well as the Polynesian.
The Senses Spa is a full service Spa offering facials, massages, manicures, pedicures, aroma therapy and even teen spa treatments. They offer many packages including one designed for children ages 4 to 12.
Shopping is pure luxury as well. There’s souvenir shopping, Basin provides you with housewares and their famed bath balls, and there’s also Commander Porters with your favorite apparel brands.
The Victorian themed resort immerses you in luxury whether you are dining at one of their signature restaurants enjoying the luxury accommodations, creating a fairytale romance or the ultimate fairytale for your young Prince or Princess. The Grand Floridian Resort and Spa is the perfect setting to begin your very own Fairytale.
