In the rat race of which we all live it’s nice to take a moment and step back. As we were making our way to Hilton Head Island South Carolina I thought our Navigation system had a glitch when. It said it would take on hour to drive just over thirty miles. It was an hour of peace for me. The winding roads relaxed me as we got closer to the ocean it sang a lullaby bringing me to a place I never take the time to go.
Upon arrival at the Hilton Head Island Omni Resort we were immediately greeted by eager valets and bellman happy to assist us. The resort emanates relaxation from the light colored wood flooring to the pastel trimmings.
We stayed on the top floor allowing us a birds eye view of the beach and the far off ships in the ocean. One of the things I loved about the Omni is it promotes togetherness. The activity center offers board games, and in the courtyard there is a life size checker and Chess board, bean bag toss and a ping pong table. The Palmetto Market sells S’mores kits to be used at your choice of fire pits.
There is a twenty four hour fitness center and several pools one of which is adults only. The Ocean Tides Spa is full service with a salon as well. Their menu includes manicures, pedicures, and hair styling. They offer massages, facials and much more. Beach rentals can be made by the main pool. The Omni offers bicycle rentals, beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and skim boards.
There are many couches, lounge chairs, and rocking chairs throughout the resort. Perfect for reading a book, taking a nap, catching up on some work or just relaxing.
Three restaurants are available for dining. HH Prime offers signiture dinning with steaks and seafood. The XO Sports Bar serves until 11 p.m. The Buoi Bar is more quick service style dining by the pool and is open until 8 p.m. weather permitting. The Omni Hilton is the perfect place for connecting with family and friends. Whether your planning to stay for a week or just a night to rejuvenate the Omni has everything your heart desires in a luxury resort.
