I love sweet things I can’t have ice cream so I am always on the hunt for my favorite watermelon sorbet. Strolling down the riverfront in Savannah is an experience like no other. The diversity of culture and history is simply breathtaking.
You can see people working out their dance routines, listen to music from various styles, and shop at the farmers market. All amongst statues and memorials defining the history of Savannah.
Savannah’s Original Candy store makes their own salt water taffy in a variety of flavors, as well as their own ice cream and sorbet. In the front window, you will discover them making chocolate covered pralines which they are happy to provide you with a freshly made sample.
Homemade candy is the sweetest gift you can share with someone. So this is a must stop. On the day of our visit they had freshly made watermelon sorbet securing them a spot as one of my new best friends.
